Cafe Style Shutter Installation & Supply

Café Style shutters are ideal for windows where full privacy is not required. They cover the bottom half of a window, creating privacy at the lower level, whilst allowing light into the room through the top of the window. Café Style shutters enable natural light into the room and are especially ideal for sash windows.

Café style shutters, often inspired by the quaint cafés of Europe, are a unique and stylish window treatment option. They are characterised by their partial coverage of windows, offering a blend of privacy and natural light.

Cafe Style Shutter Features

Our wide range of shutter styles are available to all of our accounts once they have signed up. We offer six unique types of window shutters for you to market a differentiated, elegant product to your customers.

The tilt mechanisms that we have available are intended to add style and functionality to the Trade Shutters range. We have three types of tilt mechanisms giving you the benefit of choice.

All of our shutters come with a 5 year no quibble guarantee.

Partial Window Coverage

Unlike full height or tier-on-tier shutters, café style shutters cover only the lower portion of a window. This design leaves the upper part of the window unobstructed, allowing for plenty of natural light while providing privacy at eye level.

Enhanced Privacy

They are ideal for street-level windows or areas where you want privacy from outside passersby, but still wish to enjoy natural light and a view from the top half of the window.

Customisable Design

These shutters can be customised to fit a variety of window sizes and shapes. They are available in different materials, including wood and composite, and come in a range of colors and finishes.

Versatile Light Control

While they provide constant privacy at the lower level, the louvers (slats) on the shutters can be adjusted to control light and visibility through the covered part of the window.

Energy Efficiency

By covering part of the window, café style shutters can offer some level of insulation, helping to keep the room warm in winter and cool in summer.

Durability

Made from sturdy materials, these shutters are built to last and can withstand everyday use.

Easy Maintenance

Like other shutter styles, café style shutters are easy to clean and maintain, requiring just a simple wipe-down to keep them looking their best.

Increased Property Value

As they cover only part of the window, they are a good option for rooms where full shutters might feel too bulky or overwhelming.

Enhanced Room Ambiance

Café style shutters can create a cozy, intimate atmosphere in a room, making them popular in both residential and commercial settings.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great service from Mark from ordering to fitting. The prices are competitive and the blinds are well made.
I have had them now for a few weeks and continue to be happy. I was delighted to discover that the back of the blinds are white; this better matches my conservatory.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mark is a master of his craft. He was recommended by a friend and was quick to respond and come over for measurements for our bay window. He took care in explaining what options we had for materials and style of shutters. The shutters arrive earlier than expected and Mark installed them immediately after.

The installation went really well and we are very happy with the final result.

The whole process from start to finish was excellent and Mark was always lovely to have a chat with during the process.

Would recommend to anyone looking for shutters, thanks!
